I’m Mr. Gamer and this is a Start Button Review update.
My editor and I have mulling a few things over about what direction I want to take the Start Button; how big I want to get and what exactly I want when I decide to make this venture. I have been able to answer most of her questions but she is an editor (…Mistress) that expects results and action. Trust me… And so I have been trying to deliver on that.
I don’t want to be just another blip on your gaming radar. I want to be the loudest and biggest blip on your gaming radar. Like a final boss (of a good game), I want to be unavoidable. That’s what I want to be for you guys and girls (ponies and the like). I want to be a person/place that you go to for (just as my tagline says) your source of video game info from start button to ending credits. I mean that. Good thing I am early, huh?
With that being said, you know that we still need your help, right?
Right.
Good to see that we are on the same sheet of music.
I want you to tell people about me. It is your glorious click that keeps The Start Button Review going. I am just not kidding. I want you to bless my blog (that will soon be more than a blog) with your bountiful clicks so that I know my words will reach the heavens (or at least people’s eyes and ears – I’ll settle for that for now)
Word of mouth is the fastest way that news travels and I want to use your mouths, so to speak. (Out of the gutter, please, but the point still stands) How can I say that I am the source of news info if I don’t have people to inform and argue with? You may not think that people are important in this aspect that they are. Sometimes, you have to just shut down a troll. I know that more will just pop up but I have all the time in the world. Bring it.

The next part of the update/patch is to present some milestone incentives that I am setting for The Start Button.
The milestones are a way to keep me motivated and you entertained. At the end of the day, I am doing this for you (and me). I don’t exactly have everything worked out yet, but this is a rough look at it. Basically, every 25 followers I get, you get something extra.
25 – Pictures (cause I am assuming you like my face)
50 – Q&A from readers
75 – Commission art from Mistress Sarah-Kun
100 – GOING TO YOUTUBE!!!!
When I get bigger (maybe I am a little cocky), I plan to branch out socially, but I have to make sure you, my first viewers, are well taken care of before I head out into that big new world. I am still working on a ‘look’ for Mr Gamer, but things like that take time. Good thing my editor is also a seamstress.
My end goal is to be the first and/or last name in your video game information. I can’t do it without you, and your friends, and your friends’ friends and so on.
