What’s going on, Button Mashers? Having fun playing Bravely Second but not so fun trying to level your favorite jobs?

Wanting to get that epic combo of the Free Lunch Swordmaster/Pirate with Amped Strike early to bust those Ba’als?

Honestly, I don’t know where they were going with the name of that enemy but look no further. Your friendly neighborhood Mr. Gamer has got you covered. With a few easy steps, you’ll be pwning with the best the best of them.

There are two areas that I will be covering in the guide and with that said….

SPOILERS! IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO HAVE CERTAIN AREAS RUINED OR ANY BIT OF THE STORY REVEALED, PLEASE AVERT YOUR EYES. Still follow the site but.. AVERT YOUR EYES!

Now, that we have that out of the way. make sure that you have every character at least to level 3 of the Freelancer Job for the use of the Halfsies ability. We are going to be exploiting that ability with a few Phoenix downs and the undead in Grapp Keep.

The earliest that you can get to this area with Chapter 2. You can just turn off the Encounter rate to +- 100% so that we don’t deal with the enemies until you get to the Adventurer. We going to be sticking to this guy like glue.

At this point, you should have the shop on the moon leveled up to the point where you can buy Phoenix Downs. I don’t want you to really worry about the cost because at the rate that we will be going, that won’t be a concern.

When you get to the Adventurer, buy as many Phoenix Downs as you can and try to keep a track of them as we will be going through a lot of them and don’t forget to change in the encounter rate back to max. When you get into your first battle. max out all of the characters brave points with each character using Halfsies with Phoenix Downs on the entire undead party.

The phoenix downs will not hit every enemy every time, but doing the math…

1 Character
Halfsies x4
Phoenix Down x 4

This means that one character will be hitting each enemy four times with a Phoenix Down. That multiplied by four means 16 attempts for an instant kill. You should be faster than most of the enemies here so you shouldn’t take any damage. Remember to keep track of your Phoenix Downs and end the streak when you think you might need more. With the amount of PG you’d earn, you can buy 99 Phoenix Downs in no time. And if you do get hit, you will be right next to the Adventurer for easy heals. Not to mention how quickly you will be leveling up your jobs.

Hopefully this quick guide helped you with the level grind that is Bravely Second. Let me know if you liked this guide and want to see more!
